PA | Governor Josh Shapiro signed into law on July 8, 2024, Act 45 of 2024. This law becomes effective September 6, 2024. The law permits, if the conditions below are satisfied, a surplus lines licensee to charge an insured a service fee for the placement of a personal lines insurance policy in addition to a commission received from a surplus lines insurer.
