PA| Notice 2025-03 announces that no contributions will be required from insurers in 2025 to maintain the balance of the Workers’ Compensation Security Fund. According to Section 9(1) of the Workers’ Compensation Security Fund Act, contributions are necessary if the fund’s balance falls below $500 million to ensure actuarial soundness. As of December 31, 2024, the fund’s balance exceeded $500 million, thereby eliminating the need for contributions in 2025. Insurers writing workers’ compensation insurance in Pennsylvania will not need to submit contributions to the fund this year.
