MT | The Office of the Montana State Auditor, Commissioner of Securities and Insurance has issued an Advisory Memorandum to: (1) remind consumers of their right to take their collision-damaged vehicles to an automobile body repair business or location of their choice, and (2) To advise insurers, including their producers and adjusters, that they may not engage in any act or practice that intimidates, coerces, or threatens a claimant or that provides an incentive or inducement for a claimant to use a particular auto repair shop or location.
