CT | The purpose of this notice is for the Connecticut Insurance Department (“CID”) to alert insurance companies authorized to conduct business in Connecticut (collectively “Carriers”) that the coverage standards for paid family and medical leave products (“CT PFML policies”) established by the Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Authority have been amended pursuant to Public Act 24-5. Effective October 1, 2024, these standards will be expanded to provide coverage to sexual assault victims who satisfy certain requirements for leave. Learn more
